anfreire builds whatever needs to exist — a wifi driver fix running on strangers' fedora laptops, an android app with 1,093,377 downloads, a private quant research stack, this site. no two from the same shelf.
porto-based, trained at 42 lisboa (2022). lives in the terminal, ships from fedora, prefers small sharp tools that do one thing well — there are just a lot of them. languages stack instead of replace: c → c++ → python → typescript → shell.
days are open-source tooling for ai coding agents; nights are quant research. everything public ends up in work(1) — the archive is the résumé.
history
v0 (porto) — conservatório de música do porto — six years of harp, three of trumpet. scout from 11 to 18. discipline predates logic.
v1 (estg) — computer science on paper — too much theory, not enough terminal. dropped to find the hands-on version.
v2 (2022·01) — 42 lisboa, the piscine. one month of c, day and night. found the thing.
v3 (2022→) — the cursus — 16 projects: c → c++ → an rfc-1459 irc server → a raycaster → full-stack pong.
v4 (now) — stopped picking a lane. currently shipping: agent tooling · applied ml · private quant research. see work(1) for the running list.
